Cuban Black Beans
Ingredients
- 1 lb black beans
- 1 ½ peppers
- 4 cloves garlic (or ⅛ tsp garlic powder per clove)
- 1 onion
- 1 Packet Sazon
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Goya Adobo
- ½ tsp White Vinegar
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 c Water
Directions
- Rinse beans
- Sauté peppers, onion, salt in oil on low. Add the garlic for the last thirty seconds.
- Add beans, water, and spices to pot; pressure-cook on high for 50 minutes; allow pressure to release naturally.
- For a thicker consistency, remove a cup of the beans; smash and stir back into pot; repeat until desired consistency is reached.
