Cream Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ c flour (310 g)
  • ½ c white sugar (100 g)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 c Heavy Cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 ℉
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Mix dry ingredients well
  4. Slowly add cream, just until dough forms (it's never quite all 2 c)
  5. On a floured surface, divide into two parts, each 6" wide and 1" thick
  6. Cut each round into 6 wedges
  7. Brush tops with a bit of leftover cream
  8. Bake 15–20 minutes

I've made these with Califia Dairy-Free Heavy Cream Substitute and they turned out!
